This week was amazing!!
Christmas day went as follows:
*Slept in til... wait for it... 7:45!! It was the best.
*Sister Brooks and I read the Christmas story in Luke 2
*Opened our thoughtful and sentimental gifts under the tree - thank you so much to all who sent cards and packages! I loved them and am so grateful for all the love and support.
*Made pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast
*Visited the Klein family's home for a beautiful traditional Christmas dinner of turkey, ham, and chicken, yorkshire puddings, potatoes, and veg. It was top notch. While there, I got to skype my fam - which was by far the greatest Christmas present ever! I was so grateful to see them and hear about all the good things going on at home. I felt so blessed to talk with them and love them so much!
*Visited the Willmott family's home, played games and watched a mission-Christmas-appropriate movie :)
I'm so grateful for the Christmas holiday and the joy I felt remembering our Savior, talking with my family, and celebrating with some very amazing people. What a blessing it is to be a missionary at this time. It feels especially encouraging and exhilarating begin again at the start of a new week, new transfer, and new year! 2014 will be amazing and bring many miracles, I'm sure. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
